AN IN-PERSON EVENT SPONSORED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM

Theme: “Do you believe this?” (John 11:26)

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity this year holds special significance, as Ecclesial Communities across the Greater Toronto Area jointly commemorate the 1,700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea. This provides a unique opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate our common faith as expressed in the Creed formulated at this historic council.

We invite you to join Bishop John A. Boissonneau, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto, Northern Region, and distinguished Christian leaders from various traditions, as we pray together for the restoration of the full visible unity that Jesus Christ willed for His Church. This gathering is jointly organized by the Office for Promoting Christian Unity and the Greater Toronto Area Council of Christian Churches.
